Pruszków Arena

Arena Pruszków is one of the most modern cycling circuits in the world. It is also the only indoor cycling track in our country. This multi-purpose sports and entertainment hall was commissioned in 2008.

Sports clubs, mainly those related to track cycling, as well as various sports activities and commercial events take place in the hall. On a daily basis, the National Team trains in track cycling in the facility. Arena Pruszków is also the seat of the Polish Cycling Association (PZKol).

In 2009, the newly built facility hosted the World Championships in Track Cycling. A year earlier, the track had been baptised for combat – in Pruszków the junior European Championships were held. In 2010 Arena Pruszków hosted the best riders on our continent as part of the UEC European Track Championships.

Made from Siberian pine, the track measures 250 meters. The stands surrounding it can accommodate nearly 1,500 cycling fans.

Arena Pruszków is a facility with a unique location – it is located just 15 minutes drive from the international Chopin Airport and 20 minutes drive from the centre of Warsaw. The facility is located at the junction of the most important national roads S7 and S8 and the A2 motorway. An additional advantage is the location in a secluded place, surrounded by greenery and away from the hustle and bustle of the city.

In less than ten years after the previous event of this rank, Arena Pruszków will host an event in which the best riders in the world will compete – UCI 2019 Track Cycling World Championships presented by Tissot.
